MANAGING CONSULTANT AND PRINCIPAL

Responsibilities include:
Project ownership for ~2-month client engagements
- Conducting and synthesizing insights from interviews
- Creating innovative meeting designs leveraging Exember knowledge base of 100+ meeting approaches and activities
- Advising clients on change- and leadership-related topics
- Facilitating 1-3-day meetings and off-sites for audiences ranging from 5 to 50+ people
- Building and maintaining executive relationships, routinely engaging with P&L owner, VP+, and CHRO-level clients
- Contributing to growth activities (building infrastructure, branding, writing, hiring, culture, codifying best practices) with firm partners
Qualifications:
We seek a partner-in-the-making, targeting a unique combination of skills. A qualified candidate will exhibit some (but not necessarily all) of the following:
- Experience delivering consulting (or consulting-like) engagements
- Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to manage competing demands from customers
- Experience in a fast-paced, startup (or startup-like) environment
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and organizational challenges
- Deep curiosity around human issues and their impact on business performance
- Experience designing and/or facilitating meetings for teams going through strategic change (new product launch, new leader administration, new strategy, turnaround)
- Compelling written, presentation and storytelling skills
- Strong interpersonal presence with the ability to educate and influence others
- Proven ability to interact and communicate with VP+ clients at Fortune 500 companies
- Ability to travel up to but no more than 20% of the year
- 3+ years experience in consulting or client-facing positions
- MBA or other graduate degree preferred (but not required)
- Most likely, located or willing to locate in the San Francisco Bay Area
